Based on San Mateo County’s cost estimates, the construction cost for the 1.7 mile path would be approximately $1.2-1.5 million. This is about $16-20 per person in Redwood City. If the right of way can be acquired from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, it should not be that hard to raise the funds for construction.
